KP and SPRING are not only popular exhibitions which are attractive for artists to participate in.
They are also associated with several art awards.
In 2023, no fewer than three art prizes will be awarded to selected artists.
At the opening on 1 April, will be awarded;
- KP Prize DKK 10,000 donated by Aarhuus Stiftstidenes Foundation.
A jury consisting of visual artist Jesper Rasmussen, gallerist Peter Flejsborg and KP's representative Pernille Lærke Andersen selects a prize winner from among the exhibitors at KP23. - H+H Travel Grant DKK 10,000. The Grant will not be awarded in 2023.
H+H Travel Grant is donated by Per Haansbæk and Hans-E Møller-Hansen, with the aim of giving talented artists the opportunity to seek inspiration internationally.
It is usually the founders who, among the accepted art works at this year's KP, select the award-winning art work. But unfortunately not in 2023.
On Sunday 21 May, will be awarded
- Audience Award DKK 10,000 donated by Aarhuus Stiftstidendes Foundation.
It is the audience that selects the winner of the Audience Award via voting. When visiting the exhibition, you can vote for either a KP23 artist or a SPRING23 artist. The voting period is 1 April - 18 May.
