Awards 2026

KP and SPRING are not only popular exhibitions which are attractive for artists.
They are also associated with several art awards.
In 2026, two art prizes will be awarded to selected artists.

At the opening Saturday 28 March, will be awarded;

  • KP Prize DKK 10,000 donated by Aarhuus Stiftstidenes Foundation.
    A jury consisting of two artists and KP's representative Pia Möller-Light selects a prize winner from among the exhibitors at KP26.

Sunday 17 May, will be awarded

  • Audience Award DKK 10,000 donated by Aarhuus Stiftstidendes Foundation.
    It is the audience that selects the winner of the Audience Award via voting. When visiting the exhibition, you can vote for either a KP26 artist or a SPRING26 artist.
    The voting period is 28 March to 13 May.

A professional recognition and a financial boost

Awarding the KP Prize and Audience Award is an initiative coming from KP's Board, and with support by Aarhuus Stiftstidende's Foundation has been made possible a long nurtured desire to upskill talent care in connection with KP.
Winning one of the prizes has meant a professional recognition and financial boost. For as everyone knows, it is the artist who, in principle, bears both expense and risk when creating art works.
